The US aircraft carrier Eisenhower continues its operations in the Red Sea. The air wing on board the carrier participated in the first military strike against Houthi positions on January 11.

Air sorties reach 16 hours a day, either to bomb inside Yemen or destroy Houthi marches. The carrier is part of a strike force group that leads daily battles with the Ansar Allah Houthis in the southern Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden. Report: Fadi Mansour, Al Jazeera, January 11, 2015.
