“In connection with the restoration work on the Red Bridge-Sevkar-Berd gas pipeline, from 10:00 on April 12, 2022 to 19:00 on April 13, 2022, the supply of natural gas to the Republic of Armenia will be suspended,” the company said in a statement.

As specified in Gazprom, during this period, gas supply to consumers of the republic will continue without restrictions at the expense of the reserves of the Abovyan underground gas storage station (SPGS).

In March, Gazprom Export and the Azerbaijani company SOCAR signed a short-term contract for the transportation of Russian gas to Armenia during scheduled repairs on the North Caucasus-Transcaucasia gas pipeline.

Repair work can take up to three weeks.
