The Director General of the Communications Regulatory Authority and Digital Government, Hamad Obaid Al-Mansoori, said that the concept of digital government goes beyond providing services to enhancing the quality of life in general through the value that digital data and artificial intelligence-supported technologies add to people's interactions, relationships and lives.

For his part, the Acting Deputy Director General of the General Authority for Regulating the Communications Sector and Digital Government for the Smart Government Sector, Salem Al Hosani, said in response to a question by Emirates Today that 1315 federal services are available digitally to dealers currently, through the various websites of the federal authorities.

Al Hosani confirmed that 100% of the personal services provided by the government to customers will be provided digitally within two years, and 100% of government services will be provided digitally anywhere and at any time within two years, indicating that the restructuring and engineering of government services and procedures will take place through government integration and coordination. He explained that the first first batch of government services will soon be issued in its new form, using government digital capabilities.

Al-Zarouni called on service providers, such as telecommunications services and e-commerce, to provide their services through the platform to business leaders, noting that there is full coordination with the Cyber ​​Security Council to secure government systems and put in place the best systems to protect customer data.

And he expected that the digital signature service through the digital identity would witness a great turnout by government agencies, to provide it during the coming period, especially as it exempted from attending to sign any papers, as well as that their authenticity could be digitally verified.

He stressed that the authority is constantly reviewing laws on the telecommunications sector and digital government, to keep pace with developments, which gives an impetus to support the infrastructure of the telecommunications sector and the digital government.
