"In winter, we are rich in rime, snow, and ice-free rivers; in summer, our negative oxygen ions are'exceeded'; in spring and autumn, God will definitely take a nap here and accidentally overturn the'color palette' ..." On the 2nd, Li Yan, a villager in Lengji Village, introduced the forest area to reporters.

The ecological function zone in the Greater Xing’an Mountains of Inner Mongolia has a total area of 106,700 square kilometers, a forest coverage rate of 78.39%, 984 first- and second-class rivers in the area, more than 1.2 million hectares of wetlands of various types, and an air negative oxygen ion concentration of 20,000 per cubic centimeter. The total value of forest and wetland ecosystem services is 616 billion yuan per year.

"We are guarding this paradise and don't go anywhere." Shang Jianlin was once a forest logging worker, and he witnessed the development and construction of the Greater Xing'an Mountains forest area in Inner Mongolia.

From the development and construction of the Greater Khingan Mountains in Inner Mongolia in 1952, to the implementation of China's "Natural Protection Project", logging was banned in 2015.

The forestry economy shifts to the under-forest economy, and the builders of forest areas have become guardians.

At the two sessions of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region that just ended, Chen Baishan, member of the Inner Mongolia Political Consultative Conference, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Inner Mongolia Forest Industry Group, introduced that after the implementation of the "Natural Protection Project", the forest area and accumulation of the Greater Xing'an Mountains in Inner Mongolia have achieved double growth.

Compared with the initial stage of development and construction, by 2018 the ninth continuous inventory of forest resources in China, the forest area has increased by 3.93 million hectares, the forest stock has increased by 371 million cubic meters, and the forest coverage has increased by 18.29%.

"Achieved that the more forest resources are harvested, the better."

Today, Shang Jianlin has opened a farmhouse in his own courtyard and has transformed into tourism. Even in winter, he is not free, and he has become a well-known local "rich man".

"In 1969, the production and life of the forest area changed a lot. The only thing that has not changed is the appearance of the forest and the original intention of the forest people."

Approaching the traditional Chinese festival-the Spring Festival, Cao Shufang, the proprietress of Lengji Station, began to prepare New Year's Eve dinner: "The characteristic'eight bowls' in the forest area are indispensable, and dumplings with wild vegetables are the most popular."

Cao Shufang told reporters that every year during the Spring Festival, domestic and foreign tourists fill up the rooms in the village. They make dumplings, set off firecrackers, hang lanterns, and smoke ice gar... "It's bustling!"

During the interview, the reporter found that social development and forest area reform did not change the production and living habits of local people.

When there is a good harvest of mountain products, there are always villagers on the road carrying a basket to go up the mountain to pick up the mountains; the mezzanine between the stove, the fire kang and the wall is connected through the fire channel to form an indoor thermal cycle, which is still the traditional way for the locals to resist the severe cold.

Every time you walk into the high Xing'an Mountains, there is always a pristine folk customs mixed with thick negative oxygen ions.

After graduating from university, the "post-90s" girl Wu Qiong chose to return to her hometown of Aershan to engage in propaganda work.

She told reporters: "Nothing can keep me better than the "Wonder of Oz" in Daxinganling in summer and the "Frozen" in winter." (End)
