The Minister of Energy and Industry Suhail Al Mazrouei said that the UAE will voluntarily reduce its oil production by an additional 100,000 barrels per day for next June in support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's efforts to rebalance the global oil market.

The minister added in a tweet published yesterday on the social networking site Twitter, "that after the ceiling of the UAE's oil production exceeded 4 million barrels per day in April, the country in support of the OPEC Plus agreement committed to the quota.

Al Mazrouei said that during June, the total reduction of the state will reach 44% of its sustainable production ceiling.
