The court has announced compulsory enforcement of the Sky 72 golf course in Yeongjong Island, Incheon, which is in conflict with Incheon International Airport over the issue of returning the golf course site.

We are currently in a situation where there is a concern about a collision, but we will find out more about the situation by connecting to a reporter on the site.

Reporter Lee Tae-kwon, how is the situation now?

Yes, I am currently at the Sky 72 Golf Course in Yeongjong Island, Jung-gu, Incheon.

The court's compulsory enforcement is scheduled to begin today (17th) at around 8 o'clock after sunrise, but there is a possibility of conflict as people who oppose the enforcement block the entrance like this.

This compulsory execution by the court follows Incheon International Airport Corporation winning the first and second trials in a real estate delivery lawsuit filed against Sky72, and the Supreme Court upheld the corporation's hand last month.

As the Supreme Court's ruling was finalized, Sky72 had to hand over the golf course site to Incheon International Airport Corporation, but it did not.

Earlier, the Incheon District Court advised Sky72 to voluntarily move out by the 29th of last month, but Sky72 refused and continued its business by accepting reservations.

The court watched the situation for more than 15 days, fearing a physical collision that would occur during the enforcement process, but it is known that even tenants who operate restaurants or convenience stores in the golf course decided to enforce it today, claiming possession.

The tenants even installed barbed wire around the golf course to resist the enforcement.

About 250 police officers, including the riot police, who received a request for cooperation from the court in advance, are deployed near the golf course to prepare for emergencies.
