Several people were arrested in Corsica by the anti-terrorist sub-directorate, including Pierre Paoli, activist of Corsica libera and suspected of having been the leader of the Corsican National Liberation Front.

These arrests were denounced by an independentist party of the island.

Several people, including Pierre Paoli, Corsica libera activist suspected of having been the leader of the Corsican National Liberation Front (FLNC), were arrested Thursday in Corsica by the anti-terrorist sub-directorate (Sdat), according to a nationalist association and sources familiar with the matter.

The independence party "Corsica libera and its activists are again targeted by political repression", denounced on social networks the association for the defense of so-called political prisoners, Sulidarita, announcing these arrests, just like Corsica Libera.
