On the day of the Itaewon disaster, there was a testimonial that there was a righteous man who suddenly disappeared after saving dozens of people who were in danger of being crushed in a narrow alley next to the Hamilton Hotel.

A, in his 20s, living in Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do, was looking for Itaewon to enjoy the Halloween festival with five friends around 6 pm on the 29th of last month, and entered the stairs next to the Hamilton Hotel at the time of the disaster.

However, after a while, he got caught between the crowd from above and people pushing up from below, and he fell to the left and was crushed by four other men.

It is said that when he gave up thinking, "I'm going to die this way," after being stuck for 15 minutes and giving up on getting out, a strong black man grabbed his arm and armpit and rescued him from the crowd like pulling radishes from a field.

The black man who lifted him, who was 182 cm tall and weighed 96 kg, took Mr. A to a Japanese bar next to the alley and continued to rescue people from being crushed with two other fellow foreigners.

A's friends luckily avoided anger by taking a different route at the time of the accident.

A said, "These three foreigners didn't seem to be employees of bars or clubs, but they rescued as many as 30 people, and they quietly disappeared after 119 paramedics were dispatched.

On that day, he was crushed by the crowds and injured his left knee and ankle for three weeks. He said, "I searched YouTube and various social media after the accident to find these foreigners, but in vain. I want to say thank you to meeting them." said.

And the situation at the time of the accident reported by Mr. A was very different from what was known and it was even worse.

Mr. A, who had lost his memory for a while due to the shock of being crushed by the crowd, came to his senses and participated in the rescue. He said that he opened the door in a bar and provided a space for the injured to lie down, watered, and joined the rescue.

A nearby club is said to have brought oxygen bottles to help those who have fallen.

At the time of the accident, the crowd swayed back and forth like a wave, leading to a large-scale crushing accident.

It is said that A and some of the foreigners who rescued him evacuated just before they were crushed, but did not recover consciousness.

Mr. A asked, "If anyone has a similar experience to me or knows a foreigner I'm talking about, please share the information."
