Due to the Itaewon disaster, all planned Halloween-related events and festivals in the retail and entertainment industries have been suspended.

As it is a large-scale disaster that resulted in more than 200 casualties, the plan is to refrain from marketing and have a mourning period.

Everland has decided to cancel the Halloween festival, which was scheduled to run until the 20th of next month.

All related programs, such as parades and fireworks shows featuring characters reminiscent of Halloween, such as witches and pumpkins, have been canceled.

Lotte World also announced that it will completely suspend Halloween-related events and remove all decorations.

Starbucks stopped selling drinks and cakes for Halloween, and convenience stores such as CU and GS25 also stopped Halloween-related promotions.

The hotel industry that had prepared for the Halloween event also canceled the event. Hotels that only installed decorations that made you feel the Halloween atmosphere, such as pumpkin models, without selling products or events, are in an atmosphere of hastily removing these decorations.
