Today (30th) around 9:10 am, a fire broke out at a film-coated paper manufacturing plant in Jangan-myeon, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do.



The fire department issued the first stage of response around 9:42 am, and 96 firefighters and 42 equipment were put in to put out the big fire at 11:05 am, about an hour and 40 minutes after the fire started, and the remaining fires are being cleaned up.



The first stage of response is an alarm that all fire department personnel are dispatched to, and the second stage of response mobilizes manpower and equipment from 5 to 6 adjacent fire stations.



At the time of the fire, 10 employees including employees inside the factory were evacuated and there were no casualties, and the factory building and facilities were burned.



Police and fire departments plan to investigate the cause and extent of damage as soon as the fire is extinguished.
