A stepfather who saw his teenage daughter's self-harm and threw her out of the house in the nude has been sentenced to probation.

According to the legal community today (15th), the 3rd independent criminal case (Judge Shin Jung-min) of the Uijeongbu District Court sentenced a 40-year-old man A, who was charged with violating the Child Welfare Act (child abuse), to 6 months in prison and 1 year of probation, and child abuse I have been ordered to attend 40 hours of recidivism prevention lectures.

On the afternoon of May 1st, Mr. A found a self-harm scar on the wrists of his teenage stepdaughter B at her home, and was angry and drove Miss B out of the house.

Mr. A smashed the cell phone on the table when Miss B came back to the house to return the cell phone.

Then, she instructed Miss B to "take off all her clothes and go out of the house," and in the end, Miss B went out naked.

A week later, when Miss B came home, Mr. A kicked him out again saying, "I don't need anything like you. Get out."

When Miss B came home again, this time she got down on her knees and raised her hand.

According to the child protection agency, Miss B stated that she was "stressed at school" as to the reason for the self-harm.

The court pointed out, "Even if the accused had the purpose of disciplinary action, the sexual shame and psychological shock that the victim would have felt would have been very great."

“We considered the reasons for the sentencing, such as the fact that the accused is reflecting on his mistake, that he lost his self-control when he learned that the victim had harmed himself at the time of the incident, and that he led to the crime in this case, and that the motive for the crime also appeared to have a purpose of discipline.” said.
