Outrage is rising as the story of a truck reversing hitting an elementary school student who was standing still and leaving only a business card is known.

Mr. A, who said he was a family member of the accident victim, posted a video on the online community yesterday (10th) with the title 'I laid down my nephew standing at a crosswalk in India'.

According to Mr. A, the accident occurred at around 4:26 pm on the 9th at the children's protection area at the back gate of Anseong Elementary School located in Gupo-dong, Anseong-si, Gyeonggi-do.

In a black box video that captured the situation at the time of the accident, a truck that was illegally parked on the sidewalk rushed towards the child while reversing.

The child, pushed by the truck, fell on the road, but the reverse did not stop, and the reverse continued until the child crawled on the floor and hurriedly escaped.

The video ended with a passerby who witnessed the situation running and comforting the child, and the truck driver also got out of the vehicle and approached the child.

According to Mr. A, the child's leg was crushed by the wheel, but as a result of the examination, he was not seriously injured.

Mr. A was unable to hide his resentment, saying, "They said he was a courier. He gave the child a business card and just went. If the child hadn't crawled, he would have been hit by the wheel."

He continued, "The child had lost the weight of the umbrella and was standing there to put it on, but (at the time of the accident) the tail light of the truck didn't come on, and he said he couldn't hear a sound because he came out slowly in reverse."

He continued, "I reported it to the police, but I don't know if it was a hit and run or a general accident."

This is a 'news pick'.
