According to Jeju Island on the 23rd, people in their 20s who were reported to have died received the first dose of Pfizer vaccine on the 2nd and died after complaining of chest pain yesterday.
The quarantine authorities are conducting a basic epidemiological investigation to determine whether there is a causal relationship with the vaccination.
Whether it is related to the vaccine will be finally announced after going through the official confirmation process of the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
As of yesterday, a total of 335,78 people (49.7% of the population) were inoculated with the first dose in Jeju, and 148,462 people (22% of the population) were vaccinated.
A total of 12 deaths have been reported since vaccination.
