As the spread of Corona 19 in Korea continues, the number of new confirmed cases today (19th) again exceeded 2,000.
The Central Quarantine Countermeasures Headquarters (Bangdaebon) announced that as of 00:00 today, the number of new confirmed cases increased by 2,152, to a total of 23,808 people.
The number rose by 347 from yesterday (1,805), surpassing the 2,000 mark and rising to the 2,100 level.
It is the first time in eight days since the 11th (2,222 people), the highest record since the domestic Corona 19 incident.
2,152 itself is the second largest in the 2,000 and the second largest.
If you look at the route of infection of the new confirmed cases today, 2,114 cases were local and 38 were imported from abroad.
The 4th pandemic, which started in earnest last month, has not subsided despite the high-intensity 'social distancing' (level 4 in the metropolitan area, level 3 in the non-metropolitan area) and the ban on private gatherings of 5 or more people.
In particular, this epidemic is spreading not only in the metropolitan area but also in non-metropolitan areas, increasing the spread across the country.
The number of confirmed cases per day has been in the four digits for 44 days in a row since the 7th of last month (1,211 people).
