Although it is not a large amount, snow has piled up quite a bit over the middle of the night.

Like in India, I am most worried about the road to work whether the roads will freeze.

I would like to connect to a reporter at Daebang Station in Seoul and ask.

Reporter Han So-hee, how is the road situation right now?

Yes, the snow has stopped now, but the roads are slippery as the snow that has fallen overnight has accumulated or melted.

Citizens who want to go to work are gathering little by little here near Daebang Station, and congestion is starting little by little.

It is still early, so there are no places that are very crowded, including here.

However, after a while, I am concerned that the roads will be blocked when the full-fledged rush hour comes.

Especially, the road to work in central areas such as the metropolitan area is emergency.

It is predicted that snow will fall mainly in the central region by the morning of today (18th), and the roads are frozen because of the snow that fell yesterday.

As of 6 am, 0.2cm of snow fell in Seoul, 0.7cm in Incheon, 0.7cm in Suwon, and 2.7cm in Chuncheon.

The snowfall expected today is about 1cm in southern Gyeonggi and southern Yeongseo of Gangwon, Chungcheong and northern Jeollabuk-do, 1~5cm in Ulleungdo and Dokdo, and 1~3cm in Jeju Island.

Snow or rain is forecast in some areas, such as the west coast of Chungnam and southern Chungcheong.

The temperature in Seoul now is 2.1 degrees below zero, about 8 degrees higher than the same time yesterday.

It's not as much as yesterday, but it's better to use the subway or come out earlier than usual, as snow can freeze.
