The Chinese company "Xiaomi" announced the launch of the new "Mi Reader Pro" e-book reader, which has a large screen.
The company explained that the new device includes a 7.8-inch screen instead of the six-inch screen in the previous version, and it comes with a backlight, which can be adjusted according to the user's desires between cold and warm lighting colors.
"Xiaomi" stated that the new book reader comes with a weight of 251 grams, with a thickness of not more than seven millimeters, and a quad-core processor, 2 GB of random access memory and 32 GB of internal memory, and thus combines high performance and low consumption of electrical energy.
The "Xiaomi" device is based on the "Android 8.1" operating system, and e-books are transferred via Wi-Fi or Baidu Netdisk technology, while the battery life of 3200 mAh reaches 70 days.
