In the future, minors who have committed crimes will not be required to say'having sex experiences' that is not related to the case when being investigated by the police.

The National Police Agency announced on the 16th that it accepted the problems pointed out by the Police Commission and that the juvenile affairs rules were recently revised and implemented.

The'Boy Business Rules' is a prescriptive rule for the National Police Agency aimed at preventing delinquency under the age of 19 and supporting the healthy growth of delinquent boys.

Existing rules required police officers to ask about sexual experience when investigating minors involved in a crime, including history of delinquency (priority), parental status, school interruption, and runaway.

An official from the National Police Agency explained the background of the amendment, saying, "It was pointed out that it is a violation of human rights to ask whether a boy has sexual experience that he would be reluctant to answer if there is no direct relationship with the crime."

In the future, the police will create a'Other Notes' section in the investigation form so that they can write down whether they have sexual experience only if they are related to the incident or are revealed during the investigation.

In addition, the expressions'stepfather/stepmother' and'defective family' were removed from the survey, and'flight scale rating', which could stigmatize flying boys, was also abolished.
