Justice Minister Choo Mi-ae referred to Prosecutor Han Dong-hoon as the suspect, and instructed to review the enactment of a law that enforces the implementation under certain requirements, such as a court order, and sanctions in case of non-compliance, if the suspect maliciously hides the mobile phone password and interferes with the investigation.
He asked them to refer to foreign legislation as well, and the lawyers who appeared in Joo Young-jin's news briefing today (12th) strongly criticized this order, saying it was nonsense.
He pointed out that it does not match the direction of the prosecution reform pursued by the current government.
