Following interns and residents of large hospitals, general doctors went on strike starting today (26th). About 10% of general hospitals and clinics participated. The President has ordered a strong response, but the Medical Association is in a position to continue.

In order to protest the government policy such as the establishment of a public medical school, a notice was posted that no medical treatment will be provided for three days from today.

Today, the average rate of absences among practitioners nationwide is 10.8%.

However, some places exceeded 40% depending on the region.

First, the government ordered major and full-time doctors in the metropolitan area to start working.

In addition, we ordered the heads of local governments to commence business, which exceeded 15% of the opening of the park.

Any doctor who violates the order to commence business can be imprisoned for up to three years or fined up to 30 million won, and if a sentence above the imprisonment is confirmed, the license will be revoked.
