DuckDuckGo has posted a list of the biggest trackers on the web, reports Clubic. The search engine intends to fight to help the confidentiality of personal data and offers its users the "Tracker Radar" tool, which allows it to be directly integrated into the source code of web pages and thus stop the action of trackers .

Only 19% of Internet users would use a tracker blocker, reports the specialized site. These are a real scourge for Internet users concerned about the confidentiality of their personal navigation data.

Google at the top of the podium

DuckDuckGo explains that Google trackers are for example present on 86% of web pages. The search engine thus compiled the list of the most present trackers on a total of 50,000 websites. Without much surprise, Google arrives on the first step of the podium. The American firm is followed by Facebook, which is present at almost 36% on all of these Internet pages, then Adobe and Amazon, at nearly 22%.

It took two years of research for Tracker Radar to be developed. DuckDuckGo wants to offer an effective web browsing experience to its users, in terms of invisibility. He explained that the tool could be of particular interest to researchers whose specialty is Web confidentiality.
