China News Service, Wanning, Hainan, December 22 (Zhang Junbao) On December 22, the twelfth Wanning International Surfing Festival kicked off in Riyue Bay, Wanning City, Hainan Province. This International Surfing Festival includes the National Surfing Championship , National Youth Surfing Championship and National Surfing Championship three national competitions.
A total of 15 professional teams from 11 provinces (autonomous regions) signed up for this event. Among them, Hainan and Shandong each had 3 teams participating. Be the team with the most entries.

There are nearly 300 athletes participating in this International Surfing Festival, and all the national surfing masters are present. The competition is very fierce. Two surfing champions of the 14th National Games appeared on the field at the same time. Huang Yingying, the women's short board champion, represented Hainan Sports Vocational and Technical College. Qiu Zhuo, the men's shortboard champion, represented the Hainan team in the competition.
The competition consists of men's shortboard, women's shortboard, men's longboard, and women's longboard. They are divided into open group, U18 group, and U15 group for competition. There are also team competitions and relay competitions.
According to reports, this competition adopts a dual-court mode, with two venues competing at the same time, with foreign referees serving as technical representatives and adjudicating through remote video.
The contest will end on December 28th.

Wanning Riyue Bay is one of the few sea areas in the world with high-quality fixed-point wave patterns and beach wave patterns. The water quality is clear, and the annual average wave height is 1.5-2 meters. The world's surfing enthusiasts are known as one of the top ten surfing resorts in the world, attracting many surfers and enthusiasts from all over the world all year round.
By hosting various surfing events, Wanning has gradually become the gathering center of Chinese surfing culture.
According to statistics, there are currently 33 surfing clubs in Riyue Bay, with 173 surfing coaches.
