The 20th Deaf Winter Olympics concluded with the Chinese delegation’s first medal and best record. The Chinese delegation won a total of 20 medals, 7 gold, 7 silver, 6 bronze, ranking first in the medal list and second in the gold medal list.
More than 500 athletes from and around the region participated in the Winter Deaflympics in Erzurum, Turkey. The century-old Deaf Olympics is one of the three comprehensive sports events for people with disabilities in the world.
