In a manner similar to what happens in wrestling arenas and martial arts games, a video clip showed that the assistant coach of the Erbil football team was hit by a blow that knocked him to the ground at the hands of Police Club player Abdul Razzaq Qassem.

Iraqis circulated a video clip, on social media, showing the moment the player Qassem punched Saed Suwaidan, assistant coach of Erbil club, to throw him to the ground, in the Iraqi Football League, in a match that the police team won over host Erbil with a single goal.

The director of the police club's media office, Hussein Al-Khorasani, said in a media statement that the assistant coach provoked the player Abdul Razzaq Qassem and argued with the match referee, after he left his place on the bench and moved to the police team penalty area.

Al-Khursani pointed out that his team is not satisfied with the behavior of the player Abdul Razzaq, and that the investigation of the match must include the reason for the assistant coach's going to the opponent's penalty area, explaining that the video clip circulated did not fully show the event.
