Real Madrid and Manchester City qualified for the quarter-finals of the Champions League. The former drew 1-1 with Leipzig in Germany and the latter beat Copenhagen in Denmark 3-1 on Wednesday in the second leg of the competition’s eighth-final.

Real Madrid advanced with a goal scored by Brazilian winger Vinicius Junior in the 65th minute. Manchester City scored its 3 goals in the first half through the feet of Manuel Akanji, Julian Alvarez and Erling Haaland. Mohamed Elyounoussi scored the only goal for the Danish team.
