Getafe fined 27,000 euros and partially closed its stadium for three games due to racism. The Disciplinary Committee of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has sanctioned Getafe with the partial closure of its stadium.

In this match, the anti-racism protocol was applied in the 68th minute after the insults hurled at the Argentine Sevilla player Marcos Acuña, who was called a "monkey" from the stands, and later at the coach of the Andalusian team Quique Sánchez Flores.
