“As you know, the Russian government provides Turkey with preferential prices and guarantees for the sale of energy resources,” RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.

Perincek added that Türkiye is an important bridge for the delivery of Russian energy resources.

“The government’s submission to US pressure undermines the trust of Turkey’s neighbors, especially Russia, on which our energy security depends,” the politician said.

Perincek also said that due to payment problems with Russia, Turkey may experience a shortage of foreign currency.
