As the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia reported, the court found that from August 2014 to February 2015, the defendant gave a criminal order to target civilian structures and residential buildings from large-caliber artillery guns in Yasinovataya, Avdeevka and Donetsk, which resulted in the death of one civilian inhabitant.
Four more were injured.
“The court sentenced Mikatsu to 27 years in prison in absentia.
The person involved has been put on the wanted list,” the department noted.
Earlier it was reported about a Ukrainian Armed Forces marine who was sentenced in absentia to life imprisonment for a triple murder.
