During a working trip to the troops of the Western Military District, Shoigu checked the progress of the state defense order by enterprises of the military-industrial complex in the Tula region.
Based on the results of the work, the Minister of Defense called for adjusting the schedule of deliveries to the troops for the entire range of produced weapons, shifting the timing of the transfer of equipment to the 2nd and 3rd quarters and maintaining a uniform supply of weapons throughout the year.
Earlier, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that as Ukraine pumps up arms, the consumption of air defense missiles will also increase.
