RIA Novosti writes about this.

“The assault began.

Everyone was killed.

I jumped out the window and ran towards my people,” he said.

According to Dyadchuk, he ran down the street, hoping to hide somewhere or run to his own.

Then he heard shooting from his unit and ran into the house.

At the same time, the serviceman had no connection and did not know the escape route.

“I didn’t know what to do.

I just knew which side they brought me from, and that’s all,” he said.

Dyadchuk said that he and his colleagues did not know that they were going to Avdeevka, they only told him that they were sending them “to the Donetsk region.”

His unit arrived in Avdeevka a week before the assault by the Russian Armed Forces.

On February 24, the commander of the Center group, Colonel General Andrei Mordvichev, reported to the head of the Russian Ministry of Defense Sergei Shoigu that after clearing Avdeevka, about 200 Ukrainian military personnel surrendered to the Russian army.
