The police estimate that 10,000 people were in central Malmö on Sunday to show their support for the people of Gaza.
At 1 p.m., demonstrators with flags and banners began to gather at Gustav Adolfs torg to later march on to Möllevångstorget, Sydsvenskan reports.
Since October, there have been regular demonstrations for the Palestinians in several cities in Scania.
Those demonstrations had been canceled this weekend so that as many people as possible could gather in Malmö.
Among the demonstrators were also many Danes.
