“The cruiser, as part of a group of ships, worked out a number of elements according to the plan for the sea phase of the exercise, performing at sea shooting at an air target, communications training, and resupply from a support vessel in the designated sea area,” the report says.
The department said that the participants in the exercises entered the sea from the Indian port of Vishkhapatnam the day before.
According to the data presented, over the course of several days, military personnel from different countries will show their skills and practice joint maneuvers, as well as perform tactical tasks as part of a group.
On February 19, the Ministry of Defense announced that Russian Navy ships arrived in India to participate in the exercise.
