's speech at the opening dinner of the
Mobile World Congress
(MWC) in Barcelona have had as protagonists the victims of the "devastating
fire
" in two buildings in
Valencia
that occurred last Thursday, with ten people dead until the moment.
The Monarch expressed his "shock" at the tragic event and also wanted to remember "the injured, family members and loved ones."
Felipe VI will go to the city tomorrow with Queen Letizia to "share his grief and pain with the Valencians."
Upon his arrival at the National Museum of Art of Catalonia, the King was received by the President of the Government,

, and subsequently received the President of Paraguay,

, who is in Spain on a working visit.

In his speech, Felipe VI highlighted the importance of artificial intelligence (AI), a technology with a key role in this edition of the MWC.
Pedro Sánchez has also done so in his intervention: "We aspire for Spain to play a relevant role at an international level in the development of artificial intelligence."
The president has announced the creation of a Grand Foundational Language Model of artificial intelligence trained "specifically" in Spanish and the rest of the co-official languages of Spain.
Felipe VI, Sánchez, Aragonès and Collboni will meet again this Monday at the official opening of the Mobile World Congress, which opens its doors until Thursday at the Gran Via venue of Fira de Barcelona, in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, in an edition in which the organizers of the technology show hope to get closer to attendance figures similar to those prior to the covid pandemic.
