Explosions occurred in the southern Russian city of Lipetsk on Saturday night.

A major fire broke out in a steelworks.

The fire was probably caused by a drone, the region's governor, Igor Artamonov, wrote on the messaging app Telegram.

The fire had been extinguished.

There is no risk that dangerous substances would be released.

Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry in Moscow reported further Ukrainian drone attacks in the Kursk and Tula regions.

Several unmanned missiles were intercepted and destroyed by air defense.

On Saturday, Ukraine has been defending itself against the Russian war of aggression for two years.

The country also repeatedly attacks targets on Russian territory with drones.

However, the damage and victims are disproportionate to the consequences of the war in Ukraine.
