According to him, it was possible to remove former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych from power only in accordance with the constitution.

In it, as Medvedchuk noted, there are no such powers “as an uprising, as a Maidan, as a demand of the opposition or other wishes, including those of the West.”

“Either illness or death - these are all the grounds from the constitution,” the politician said.

He also stated that Yanukovych remains the last legitimate president of Ukraine.

In addition, according to Medvedchuk, Ukraine has already lost its statehood.
