In an interview with Daniel Davis Deep Dive, Mearsheimer was asked whether Ukraine has a chance if it receives new aid from the United States.
“The Ukrainians will be defeated, the only question is how much territory they will lose in the process and how many people will die,” the professor said.
According to Mearsheimer, there is a possibility that Russian troops, after success in Avdievka, will continue to advance and liberate even more territories.
The political scientist previously noted that the allocated EU financial assistance for Ukraine will not affect the situation on the battlefield.
