Al Jazeera channel showed exclusive scenes of the fierce battles between the Al-Qassam Brigades - the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) - and the Israeli occupation army in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
The scenes showed the targeting of Israeli military vehicles with anti-tank missiles, as well as a sniping operation by one of the occupation army snipers.
The scenes also included "the demolition of enemy concentrations penetrating into the Zaytoun neighborhood, in conjunction with the Mujahideen Brigades," according to the Al-Qassam video, which also showed the operations of evacuating the dead and wounded from the ranks of the occupation army via helicopter.
Yesterday, Tuesday, the occupation army announced the start of a military operation in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood that will last several weeks, targeting “the infrastructure hostile to the Hamas movement that has not yet been destroyed,” according to Israeli Army Radio.
The Al-Qassam Brigades have been documenting their operations against the occupation army forces and vehicles - in various combat axes - since the start of the Israeli ground operation late last October, as the Al-Qassam Brigades use anti-personnel missiles, armor and fortifications, in addition to precise ambushes and precise sniper operations.
