A video clip obtained by Al Jazeera shows large numbers of trucks loaded with aid accumulating on the Egyptian side, waiting to be allowed to enter the Gaza Strip.

Lines of trucks extend over a large area, while the place is devoid of any activity indicating that these trucks are moving.

The Rafah crossing is located on the border between Egypt and the Gaza Strip, but the Egyptian authorities say that Israel is the one preventing the entry of aid into the Strip.

Today, Wednesday, Israeli Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to prevent the entry of aid into Gaza as long as Israel is unable to achieve anything regarding its prisoners.

Since last October 7, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, which has so far led to the death of more than 29,000 Palestinians and the injury of about 70,000, most of them women and children.

The Israeli aggression also led to the destruction of housing and public facilities and the displacement and starvation of residents in the Gaza Strip.
