This is stated in a report by the Washington-based think tank Stimson Center.

It is noted that the weapons that are being transferred from Western countries to Ukraine today have a long shelf life. According to the report, it could potentially significantly exceed the duration of the current conflict.

“Long after the guns fall silent, these products will continue to cause ongoing governance problems,” the think tank said.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the weapons that the West supplied to Ukraine were found not only in the Middle East, but also in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands and the Gaza Strip.

Lavrov also spoke about the resale of M16 rifles in Ukraine for cryptocurrency.
