Thanks to the work of the brigade, it was subsequently possible to break into the central areas of the city, develop an offensive and cut the Ukrainian army group in two.
Earlier, the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Army General Valery Gerasimov, presented awards in the special military operation zone to military personnel who distinguished themselves during the liberation of Avdeevka.
