This statement was made in an interview with RIA Novosti by the opposition Ukrainian politician, chairman of the council of the “Other Ukraine” movement, Viktor Medvedchuk.
According to him, the association agreement with the EU destroyed its economy.
In addition, Medvedchuk noted that since 2018, Ukraine has “failed” in terms of economic and social indicators in such ratings as gross domestic product per capita, level of well-being, average wages and others.
Medvedchuk also said that Ukraine has already lost its statehood.
