He noted that relations between the Republika Srpska and Russia have been at an excellent level for many years.
“We have complete mutual understanding. It is very important for us from Republika Srpska that the president understands our situation, which is complex,” Dodik said.
Dodik noted that Republika Srpska has not imposed sanctions against Russia.
“The prospects for our relations are good... The Republika Srpska has good relations (with Russia) economically... Russian companies are now operating on our territory in difficult conditions,” he concluded.
Earlier, during negotiations in Kazan, Putin expressed gratitude to Dodik for maintaining regular relations between the countries.
