Activists demanded the arrest of Ogles on charges of incitement to genocide (Reuters)

US Congressman Andy Ogles called for genocide of the Palestinians in Gaza, when activists asked him about the United States’ responsibility for killing thousands of children there.

A video clip circulated on social media today, Wednesday, showing Ogles - the Republican representative for the fifth district in Tennessee - surrounded by a group of activists. One of them asked him about the scenes of children in Gaza, their bodies torn apart by bombs, denouncing that the United States was behind these massacres with taxpayer money.

All Ogles said to her - as he continued on his way - “I think we should kill them all... if that makes you feel better,” then he repeated his word: “all of them.”

Activists on social media expressed their condemnation of these statements, and some of them demanded that Ogles be immediately arrested on charges of incitement to genocide.

“I think we should kill them all.” This is what congressman Andrew Ogles said about Palestinian children. Pls share widely. Pls let the congressman know what you think. @repogles @LevantLaith @MullisVsMachine @raz818ruzz @Love_My_Creator @markthanosright @jacksonhinklle pic.twitter.com/o42qYf2g1f

This is not the first time that American politicians and representatives have called for killing or destruction in Gaza or the displacement of Palestinians outside the Strip.

Two weeks ago, Republican Member of the House of Representatives Brian Mast appeared in a video recording, responding to questions from a group of female activists regarding the United States’ responsibility for killing innocent children in Gaza and destroying the infrastructure. He said that there is more that must be destroyed and will be destroyed, as he put it.

Before that, potential Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley called for the displacement of Gazans to other countries, claiming that they are supporters of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).

It is noteworthy that most of the martyrs and wounded as a result of the Israeli war on Gaza are children and women. The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Wednesday that the number of martyrs rose to 29,313, and the number of injured reached 69,333.

Since the start of the war last October, the United States has refrained from calling on Israel to cease fire, and continues to supply it with thousands of tons of weapons via an air bridge.

Yesterday, Tuesday, Washington used its veto for the third time in the UN Security Council to thwart a resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
