The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced that it had ambushed an Israeli force during its storming of the Jenin camp, and the resistance fighters clashed with the occupation forces, which led to the death of 3 and the injury of others.

Al-Qassam explained that its members are confronting the occupation forces in Jenin with appropriate weapons and high-explosive devices.

Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that explosive devices were detonated in the occupation army's vehicles during its storming of the city of Jenin, and Israeli reconnaissance planes flew at a low altitude in the sky of the city of Jenin and its camp.

Medical sources reported that a Palestinian was wounded by bullets from the occupation forces during the confrontations in Jenin, while Israeli Army Radio reported that Israeli forces eliminated a number of militants in the Jenin camp.

According to the Hebrew Channel 12, the army killed 3 Palestinians earlier that night.

Israeli Army Radio said that for the first time in weeks, a drone attacked a “terrorist cell” in Jenin, and special forces surrounded a house and were working to arrest a wanted man.

Meanwhile, the private Israeli Channel 14 said that the wanted person is a leader in the Islamic Jihad movement in the northern West Bank, without mentioning his name.

While the official Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) reported that Israeli army forces and an undercover force wounded 3 Palestinians, one of whom was seriously injured, during the storming of the city of Jenin and its camp.

Eyewitnesses told Anadolu correspondent that a large number of military vehicles, accompanied by a bulldozer, stormed the Jenin camp, and armed clashes broke out and sounds of gunfire were heard in several areas.

Israel says that the Jenin camp is a center of activity for Palestinian resistance factions and includes dozens of militants from the Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Fatah movements, and from it operations against Israeli targets are launched.

Since it began a devastating war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, the army has intensified its attacks in the occupied West Bank. Which, as of Tuesday evening, left 402 martyrs, about 4,500 wounded, and 7,120 detainees.
