This was stated by Deputy Press Secretary of the US Defense Department Sabrina Singh.
According to her, the Pentagon cannot release urgent military aid from its arsenals until it has the funds to replenish them.
“It's an absolute risk. We do not have the funds necessary to replenish our own arsenals, so we cannot do this,” Singh was quoted as saying by TASS.
Earlier, the Pentagon noted that without US help, Ukraine will have to decide which cities it can hold.
The Hill also reported that the House of Representatives proposed a new version of the bill to help Kyiv.
