The Russian Ministry of Defense, during a daily update on the situation in the area of the North Atlantic Military District, reported that over the past 24 hours in the Avdeevsky direction, units of the Center group of troops occupied more advantageous lines and positions and completely liberated the Avdeevsky coke plant.
Along with this, accumulations of manpower and equipment of the 71st Jaeger, 23rd Mechanized Brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the 116th Terrorist Defense Brigade in the areas of the settlements of Solovyovo and Tonenkoye (DPR) were defeated. At the same time, nine attacks by assault groups of the 53rd, 59th mechanized and 3rd assault brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the village were repelled. Lastochkino and Pervomaiskoe settlements (DPR).
The enemy lost up to 565 military personnel killed and wounded, two armored combat vehicles, 23 vehicles, as well as two US-made M777 artillery systems and a D-30 howitzer.
Earlier, the head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, on the Rossiya 24 TV channel, said that many war crimes of the Ukrainian Armed Forces against the residents of Avdeevka have been recorded. Local residents described what they had to endure, especially in recent weeks, when the enemy “became frantic towards the civilian population.”
“Everything is documented - this is very important for subsequent trials, for the subsequent establishment of responsibility for all these crimes,” RIA Novosti quotes Pushilin.

Along with this, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that in the Kupyansk direction, units of the Western Group of Forces, supported by aviation strikes and artillery fire, repelled six attacks by assault groups of the 30th, 32nd and 60th mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas of the village. Sinkovka village (Kharkov region) and Terny (DPR).
The enemy lost up to 30 troops, a Leopard tank, two armored personnel carriers and four vehicles. During the counter-battery fight, the following were hit: a Polish-made Krab self-propelled artillery mount, an Akatsiya self-propelled artillery mount, a D-20 howitzer, as well as a Gvozdika self-propelled gun.
In the Donetsk direction, units of the Southern Group of Forces improved the situation along the front line, defeating formations of the 22nd, 42nd, 93rd mechanized, 79th, 80th air assault brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the village. Novomikhailovka, Grigorovka, Kurdyumovka and Kleshcheevka settlements (DPR). In addition, four attacks by assault groups of the 24th mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the village were repelled. Leninskoye village (DPR).
The losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces amounted to over 275 military personnel, two infantry fighting vehicles, two cars, and a D-30 howitzer.
In the South Donetsk direction, units of the Vostok group of troops defeated the formations of the 102nd and 128th defense brigades not far from the village. Staromayorskoye village (DPR) and Chervonoye (Zaporozhye region). Enemy losses amounted to up to 150 military personnel, three vehicles, an Akatsiya self-propelled artillery mount, a D-20 howitzer, as well as two Bukovel-AD electronic warfare stations.
In the Kherson direction, as a result of the coordinated actions of the units of the Dnepr group of troops and the complex fire defeat of the enemy, the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces amounted to up to 45 military personnel, four pickup trucks and a D-20 howitzer.
In addition, operational-tactical aviation, drones, missile forces and artillery of groupings of troops of the Russian Armed Forces destroyed the SAMP/T anti-aircraft missile system made in France, and damaged manpower and military equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 138 regions.
Air defense systems shot down 96 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye, Kharkov and Kherson regions, as well as two HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems.
