The diplomat published in her personal Telegram channel a photo taken during the meeting of the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry with the Cuban leader. Zakharova did not say what exactly the conversation was about.
“Sergei Lavrov is being received by the President of Cuba,” she noted briefly.
Lavrov arrived in Cuba on February 19. During the visit, he laid flowers at the monument to the poet José Martí in Havana and met with Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla. During the meeting, the parties discussed a number of issues, including the situation in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone.
