Al Jazeera's correspondent said that the Israeli occupation forces continue their violent bombardment of many homes in various areas of the Gaza Strip, which led to the death and injury of dozens of citizens.

It was also reported that the number of victims of the Israeli bombing of 10 homes in the central region had risen to more than 60 martyrs since yesterday evening, while more than 13 citizens were martyred in the bombing of the Hamad family’s home in the Al-Zawaida area, in the center of the besieged sector.

The reporter added that the occupation aircraft launched a violent raid on the eastern areas of Gaza City, and two Palestinians were martyred and others wounded in a bombing that targeted a house on Mansoura Street, east of the Shujaiya neighborhood in Gaza City.

A number of people were also killed and others were injured as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted a residential house in the Beit Lahia project area in the northern Gaza Strip.

Paramedics and citizens recovered a number of children alive from under the rubble of the Baraka family’s home in the Al-Bruk area in Deir al-Balah, which was targeted by the occupation with missiles. For its part, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said that the speed of the deterioration of the situation in Gaza is unprecedented, and explained that approximately 3 out of every 4 people in Gaza drink from contaminated water sources, and that infectious diseases are on the rise, especially among the displaced.

Fears are increasing about the possibility of famine occurring in the Gaza Strip, especially in the northern regions, due to the severe food shortage, due to the continued Israeli siege and the occupation forces preventing the entry of aid.
