Dozens of martyrs and wounded arrived at the hospital after the raids (Al Jazeera)

Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that 11 Palestinians, including a girl, were killed, and dozens of others were injured as a result of a series of heavy raids launched by occupation aircraft on various areas in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.

The reporter said that injured people, including children and women, arrived at the Kuwaiti hospital as a result of the violent and unprecedented Israeli bombing, which mainly targeted the north of the city of Rafah.

The reporter added that an Israeli bombing targeted Al-Rahma Mosque in Al-Shaboura Camp in Rafah, indicating that there were casualties.

He said that hundreds of citizens fled to the Kuwaiti hospital to escape the violent Israeli bombing.

For its part, the Palestinian Red Crescent said that intensive raids targeted populated homes opposite the headquarters of the Crescent Society in the center of Rafah.

Earlier, Al Jazeera's correspondent reported hearing clashes, artillery shelling, and intense raids in the city of Rafah. He also spoke of bombing close to the border with Egypt.

The correspondent said that intense Israeli clashes were taking place near the vicinity of the Kuwaiti Hospital in Rafah.

In its first statement after the bombing of Rafah, the Israeli army said that it carried out a series of attacks on specific targets in the Al-Shaboura area in the southern Gaza Strip.
