The Israeli occupation army committed new massacres at dawn on Friday against Palestinian civilians by bombing two homes in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip. A kindergarten shelters displaced people in the middle of the Gaza Strip. The occupation also continued to target health facilities and areas inhabited by displaced people in Gaza and Khan Yunis.

Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that at least 8 Palestinians, including 3 children, were killed in the bombing of two houses in the city of Rafah at dawn on Friday.

Also, at dawn today, Friday 4, 4 others were martyred, most of them children and women, in an Israeli bombing that targeted a kindergarten housing displaced persons in the Al-Zawaida area in the central Gaza Strip. Civil Defense reported that there were missing persons still under the rubble.

Al Jazeera's correspondent in Gaza quoted medical sources as saying that three Palestinians were martyred and a fourth was seriously injured, after the occupation forces bombed a number of people trapped inside the Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City who tried to leave the complex.

In the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, an Al Jazeera correspondent said that an Israeli bombing targeted schools housing displaced people in the vicinity of the Nasser Medical Complex in the city of Khan Yunis. The correspondent also reported that the bodies of two martyrs were recovered from the vicinity of Al-Aqsa University, west of Khan Yunis.

Al Jazeera's correspondent said that a Palestinian was martyred inside the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis by Israeli sniper bullets. Al Jazeera's correspondent added that the occupation army targeted the emergency and surgery building with heavy gunfire. The Ministry of Health also announced that a nurse was injured by Israeli fire that targeted the hospital's operations department.

In turn, the Palestinian Red Crescent reported that the vicinity of its Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Yunis was witnessing intense and continuous gunfire.

15 massacre

Earlier, the Ministry of Health in Gaza said yesterday, Thursday, that at least 27,840 Palestinians were martyred and 67,317 were injured in the Israeli aggression on the Strip since October 7.

The ministry added in a statement that about 130 Palestinians were martyred and 170 others were injured during the past 24 hours.

It stated in the statement that "the Israeli occupation committed 15 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, resulting in 130 martyrs and 170 injuries."

The Ministry also stated that "there are still a number of victims under the rubble and on the roads, and the occupation is preventing ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them."

In the same context, the government media office in Gaza announced that the number of journalist martyrs since the start of the war on Gaza had risen to 124.

Reporters Without Borders strongly condemned the Israeli army's elimination of journalism and freedom of access to information in the Gaza Strip.

The organization called on countries and international organizations to increase pressure on Israel "to stop this massacre immediately."

The Israeli war on Gaza has entered its fifth month, and most of its victims are children and women, according to the Palestinian authorities. It has also caused “massive destruction and an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe,” according to the United Nations.
