Polish Minister of Defense Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz made a proposal to put pressure on Budapest.

“It is worth creating a coalition to exert positive pressure to convince Hungary as quickly as possible,” he said, as quoted by PAP.

Kosinyak-Kamysh plans to discuss this plan with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

On February 5, the Hungarian parliament was unable to vote on ratifying Sweden's application to join NATO due to a lack of quorum.

US Ambassador to Budapest David Pressman noted that the American authorities are disappointed that Hungary has delayed the process of ratifying Sweden's accession to NATO.
